I don't know what anyone has to gain out of disrepecting her. She's dead. Every male whose had a hard life or had drug problems is treated as more than a human being. They're not evaluated with so much ridicule.... Until they get fat, anyways.

Some of you people are so hateful. It's so sad.

It affects me, because if I'd ever met her I would totally have tried to spit some game and have sex with her. Maybe let her be my sugar mama.

You know, this has gotten way too much attention. Honestly, the only people it truly affects is her family. Though I'm sympathetic for their loss, all the average American really loses is a new Trim-Spa commercial. Stop obsessing over celebrities. Obsess over me. It's healthier, AND I'm more prone to do stupid things.

Like those who went before her -- Marilyn Monroe, James Dean and Jim Morrison, she obeyed Hollywood's golden rule, first spoken by John Derek in the 1949 film Knock on Any Door: "Live fast, die young and leave a good-looking corpse." And self-medication was likewise a part of her final chapter. May we all learn from this tragedy in our own way.

still can't believe she is dead.

She spent her entire life searching for love and faced so much rejection; it's truly amazing how many people now want a part of her.

She couldn't live in peace and now it seems she can't die in peace. I hope she's up there holding hands with G*d and laughing at all the idiots she left down here.

I think it sucks that she died so young. I wasn't a fan, but she seemed OK. She made mistakes like all of us do, only no one expects celebrities (no matter what list they're on) to make them so openly. Good for her! She actually did what she wanted in her life and that's something most of us have a hard time doing.

Good freaking riddance. If anyone is going to become a household name by virtue of eating enough Vicodin to staff a VA hospital for a month and then rubbing over-inflated breasts against everything from senior citizens to the sofa to her lawyer and her son, it's going to be ME, dammit. Yes, her Guess ads were hot as heck, but she really should've pulled her Marilyn back then, before she came to resemble a character so over-the-top it was cut from the final draft of "Valley of the Dolls."

Rest in peace, and may God bless, Anna. <3

Many people desire to accomplish what you have in your oh-so-short lifespan.
Your memories will forever be with us....
Rest In Peace anna

people cared how fat or how thin she was. they cared how much money she had, how much she didn't have, how much she wanted, how much she tried to get, or make, and how. people cared about her as long as she was in a courtroom, whether it be for diet pills or a dead husband.

people never cared that she was, her whole life, slowly drowning in her depression. a depressed pop culture icon doesn't make headlines. only dead ones.

may your soul rest in infinite, long-deserved peace, anna.

Anna's life was amazing. She was arousing, self-effacing, humorous and silly. Her life played out in the public eye.

She sought fame and success. Maybe she flew too close to the sun, but I think she rawked in her own way. And, afterall, she always seemed to do things her way. We all should be so lucky.

I had to make a tuna sub today.

She will be missed. :-(

I always thought she was one of the most beautiful women ever.
