Someone on Blogdrive is infringing on my copyright. What should I do?

Blogdrive is committed to respecting others' intellectual property rights and we ask our users to do the same. Our policy is to comply with all intellectual property laws and to act expeditiously upon receiving any notice of claimed infringement. If someone on Blogdrive is infringing upon your copyright, you may make a report through the Abuse team, which is the designated recipient of copyright complaints under the provisions set forth in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. 512(c). Complaints should follow the normal Abuse team contact procedures, which can be found at the end of this document.

If you believe that your work has been reproduced on this website in a manner that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide a notice of copyright infringement containing all of the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner for the purposes of the complaint.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  • Identification of the material on our website that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity.
  • The address, telephone number or e-mail address of the complaining party.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice of copyright infringement is accurate, and that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the right that is allegedly infringed.
Failure to include any of the above information, or failure to provide enough information for Blogdrive employees to identify the violation, will seriously delay if not prevent your request from being handled.

If you cannot make the above claims, your complaint is most likely not valid, and may be disregarded by our staff. If, for instance your work was created using other copyrighted artwork, even if you have altered the image considerably, the copyright still belongs to the original copyright holder, and you cannot make a complaint.

Once you have filed this notification with Blogdrive, the person who is allegedly infringing upon your copyright has an opportunity to file a counter-notification disputing your right to claim copyright on the material.

All notices of copyright infringement should be sent to:
E-mail: abuse@Blogdrive.com
All correspondence must be in the English language.

You can also send an initial communication of the alleged copyright infrinment here.
